As a constituent I urge you to support future legislation that will create Educational Savings Accounts (ESAs) for Nevadan families. Last legislative session there was a bill, SB252 that unfortunately did not pass that would have given Nevadan families the ability to make the choices in education that best fits the needs of their children by granting them access to an Education Savings account or ESA. Having an ESA gives parents the ability to transfer funds to approved expenses such as private or nontraditional schools, courses, programs and services of their choice.
A Students education opportunity should not be limited by their family’s wealth or income.
As a constituent I am asking you to please support future policies like SB252 and grant Nevada family's greater choice and a rising quality of education in Nevada.
