The high cost of living in Colorado is putting families in financial stress. Increasing the cost of gasoline will only make things worse.

I am asking you to stop the gas fee passed under SB21-260 from going into effect. The temporary delay passed by HB22-1351 does not do enough to help Colorado families.

Politicians in Colorado voted to make you pay more at the pump! The gas tax increase (SB21-260) is scheduled to go into effect in just a few months unless lawmakers take immediate action.

In 2021, the Colorado General Assembly passed SB21-260 which adds new fees on a gallon gas, deliveries, ridesharing and more without a vote of the people Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights and Proposition 117 require.

The legislature then passed a temporary pause with HB22-1351 to delay the gas tax increase until after the 2022 elections.
