Tell Lawmakers to Expand School Choice in Missouri
School Choice is a Parents' Rights Issue
We all know nationwide the public education system is struggling. Missouri is no exception.
The amount we spend on administration and bureaucracy has grown exponentially while good teachers are often underpaid, students are underserved, and families leave the system - if they can afford to.
Giving parents the freedom to choose better and more innovative ways to educate their children has been catching fire across the country - for all of these reasons and more.
Missouri has been lagging behind in expanding education options for families, regardless of their location or socioeconomic status.
It's time for that to change.
26% of Missourians rate their public schools "Poor". A whopping 40% only rate them "Fair".
62% of Missourians support Education Savings Accounts for students.
It's time to demand that the Missouri legislature prioritize students over the education bureaucracy.
-> Expand open enrollment statewide
-> Expand charter schools statewide
-> Allow taxpayer education funds to follow the child to the school that best meets their needs.
Please email your legislators here and let them know Missourians want better for our children. Tell them that they need to free families to choose the best education for their children.
"School Choice" shouldn't just be for the kids who can afford it.
