Certificate of Need repeal means that Georgians across the state will experience lower healthcare costs, greater quality of care, and more access to quality care. It’s estimated by the Mercatus Center that without CON laws, Georgia could have 70+ more hospitals, birth centers, mental health facilities, etc., in urban and rural areas, caring for our growing population of young adults, mothers, and newborns. For these reasons, I ask you to please support the repeal of Georgia's CON law and make healthcare more affordable for all Georgians.
