Protect Colorado Taxpayers

Time and again, Colorado voters have made their support for the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights (TABOR) clear.

The defeat of recent ballot initiatives such as Proposition CC and HH, along with consistent polling showing that over 70% of voters back TABOR, underscores the broad and bipartisan support this constitutional amendment enjoys.

Now, after repeated failures at the ballot box, some are turning to the courts in an attempt to dismantle TABOR—an act that directly contradicts the will of the people you were elected to represent.

TABOR plays a critical role in ensuring fiscal responsibility, taxpayer transparency, and government accountability. It allows Coloradans to have a direct voice in decisions that impact their wallets, their families, and their businesses.

TABOR is not a partisan issue—it is a Colorado issue. It is one of the reasons our state continues to attract families, entrepreneurs, and job creators.

I urge you to stand with your constituents and vote NO on HJR25-1023. This resolution represents an attempt to sidestep the people of Colorado. Defend their right to vote. Defend taxpayer accountability. Defend TABOR.
