REIN in Regulations in Kentucky

The REINS Act represents a critical step toward enhancing transparency and accountability within the executive branch, often called the ‘administrative state’ or simply ‘the bureaucracy.’ By supporting this legislation, we’re empowering our elected officials to give a stronger voice to the people when new rules or regulations are proposed. 

If proposed regulations impose excessive costs or burdens on Kentucky businesses, the regulation will be automatically halted until the legislature approves them. This mechanism ensures that our state’s economic landscape remains favorable for growth and innovation.
