I’m writing to let you know how disappointed I am that you've used your veto power on a joint bipartisan resolution that aims to protect my retirement savings from unsound, politically motivated ESG investments.

Rather than standing with Americans to maximize their investments, you chose to insert your politics into our retirement accounts.
Your administration’s new “Environmental, Social, and Governance” Investment Rule endangers the retirement savings of hundreds of millions of Americans by pressuring fund managers to make investment decisions guided by politics rather than sound financial reasoning.
In this economy, we can’t afford these kinds of mistakes. We shouldn’t have to bear the consequences of political theater.
