like to join Americans for Prosperity Ohio in thanking you for your leadership
in paving the way for economic freedom in Ohio by voting yes this past General
Assembly on Senate Bill 131, which addresses occupational licensure reform.
Cutting burdensome regulations for over 600 professions is no small feat, and I
know how difficult of a task that is while up against special interest groups
and lobbyists. This bill is a step towards empowering individuals to start
their business and career in the Buckeye state, by making it easier for them to
obtain the necessary licenses to work in their chosen field.

Brian Lampton for voting YES on lowering business regulations for over 600 professions. While up against special interest groups and lobbyists, this was so small task!

SB131 enables individuals who move to Ohio and are already licensed in another state to have their licensure recognized by the State of Ohio. This commonsense reform attracts more people to Ohio and frees people to get jobs they are already qualified to work. It will provide people moving to our Buckeye state with the opportunity to continue their already productive career.
