Worker freedom is key to Wisconsin’s recovering economy. Your budget proposals would have taken away these freedoms, put holes in our families’ budgets, and slow our economic recovery.

Act 10 alone has saved Wisconsin taxpayers $14 billion, and now you want to roll it back. We can’t afford this kind of tax hike.

Right to Work has provided thousands of workers the ability to use their First Amendment right of freedom of association to decide if they want to join a union. We will not let our First Amendment rights be trampled on.

Reforms to the prevailing wage and project labor agreements have provided more opportunities for small businesses and saved taxpayer money on countless construction projects across the state. We do not want to artificially pay more for these projects.

I urge you to reconsider these policies and start supporting worker freedom in Wisconsin.

Over the last 10 years, we’ve worked to improve worker freedom in Wisconsin. We passed Act 10, Right to Work, and reforms to the prevailing wage and project labor agreement laws.

These reforms protect our First Amendment rights, provide more opportunity for our small businesses, and increase incomes, which helps our economy and families recover. But now these reforms are under attack.

In his latest budget proposal, Governor Evers wants to repeal worker freedom.

He wants us to hand over more money and have less control over our own paychecks. He also wants to increase our taxes by repealing Act 10.

Together, we can stop Governor Evers’ harmful policies and ensure that we all continue to enjoy worker freedom in Wisconsin.
