AFP-AK: Support the Ambler Road or Ambler Access Project (AAP)
Take Action! Comments on Draft SEIS – Ambler Access/Road Project

The Ambler Road, also known as the Ambler Access Project (AAP), is of great importance for the future of Alaska. This project will not only create much-needed, long-term jobs but also enable the production of critical minerals, reducing our reliance on China and other foreign countries. These minerals are essential for expanding our energy portfolio and a sustainable economy.
Access to these critical minerals is authorized under the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act (ANILCA). The success of northwest Alaska depends on the AAP, as it will provide jobs and economic opportunities for the region. It is crucial that the draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) is based on accurate, well-researched information rather than speculative content, unfounded assumptions, or unlikely worst-case scenarios.
Similar to the positive impact of the Red Dog Mine and Road, the Ambler Road Project will make a lasting difference for future generations. It is important for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to hear from supporters of economic development and job opportunities for Alaskans.
By submitting comments and letters of support for the pending SEIS, you can make your voice heard and help the BLM move forward with reinstating the right-of-way (ROW) for this crucial path to opportunity. Please provide your information, and you will be automatically redirected to make a supportive comment for the AAP project!
