I am calling today to support the Governor's Education Freedom Scholarship legislation. For me REAL school choice looks like:
A true ESA instead of a voucher. ESAs can be used for private school tuition AND tutoring, curriculum, transportation, or other education related expenses. ESAs go to the parent; vouchers go directly to the school.
NO Strings Attached – We do not want private, or micro schools to be required to jump through additional hoops if they accept the ESA. Nor do we want to see any required changes to the curriculum taught or testing.
UNIVERSAL ACCESS – every family, regardless of their income or zip code should have access.
